GEORGE STURT

George is an Assistant Manager within our UK Tax team and provides support to both clients and the team itself, from a compliance and advisory perspective.

Experience

George studied History at the University of Kent between 2012 and 2015 before beginning his career in tax at British Taxpayers, a local firm of specialist-chartered tax advisors in Horsham. George immediately began to gain practical tax experience to supplement his simultaneous studies toward becoming a qualified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).

George achieved full ATT membership in 2017 and has since been studying towards becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CTA). George has completed his advanced technical examinations in the taxation of individuals, Trusts and Estates and hopes to become a fully qualified CTA member in the near future.

Whilst working in tax, George has developed a broad knowledge of private client taxation, with a particular focus on the taxation of high-net worth, non-resident, and non-domiciled individuals, as well as internationally mobile employees.

Outside of work

Away from work, George enjoys travelling and spending time with his family and friends. He is also an avid sports fan, with football being his favourite.
