MATTHEW CURTIS

Matt Curtis is the Director of our Hong Kong Office, responsible for delivering an excellent service for our clients in Hong Kong and across the North Asia region.

Matt is focused on building The Fry Group’s connections in Hong Kong, and ensuring we continue to provide the highest standards of financial advice to our clients. His aim is to preserve and develop the strong reputation that The Fry Group has built over the decades, with a goal to help as many people as possible achieve financial freedom.

Experience and qualifications

Matt has always worked in finance, first for HSBC and subsequently within the financial planning department of a Chartered Accountancy practice as a paraplanner. He has been a Chartered Financial Planner since 2014. Matt can empathise with many of our clients who move between countries having worked across our Hong Kong and London offices in various roles since joining The Fry Group in 2012. These moves have allowed him to gain hands-on experience of the challenges and opportunities that internationally mobile individuals and families encounter.

Outside of work

Matt lives with his wife and two young children on the southside of Hong Kong island where they are close to beaches and hiking trails, which they love to explore in any spare moments. Travel is a passion of Matt’s and holidays are often spent searching out adventures around Asia. Matt tries to keep in shape through running and the occasional game of 5-a-side football.
