The Fry Group acquires British Taxpayers Association

We are delighted to have completed the acquisition of British Taxpayers Association, an established firm of Chartered Tax Advisers who are experienced in advising high net worth clients in the UK and overseas.

The British Taxpayers Association (BTA) team and its clients have transferred to our Head Office in Worthing as part of the acquisition. This adds a team of six, including two Chartered Tax Advisers to strengthen our existing specialist tax service. Zoe Harris, Director at BTA has joined us in a new role as Head of Professional Services bringing together our tax and estates expertise. Claire Spinks, Director at BTA, has also joined this newly formed professional services team with responsibility for training and development.

David Pugh, CEO at The Fry Group commented: “We’re delighted to be welcoming the BTA team and clients to our business. Through this acquisition we’ll bolster our tax capabilities, with the addition of a strong team of chartered specialists. Our aim is not just to help our clients better manage their wealth, but to support each one in achieving financial freedom, in whatever form that means to them. Strengthening our core tax service and extending our professional services capability helps us better deliver on this purpose.”

Zoe Harris, Director at British Taxpayers Association, added: “As part of our steps to actively seek a buyer we found a compelling synergy with The Fry Group. We share key values in our vision, passion for excellence and commitment to people. I’m hugely excited by the opportunity this presents to our clients and also by the increased career development opportunities it offers to our very talented team.”
