As our Global Compliance Director Fiona is responsible for our compliance and risk management. Her primary focus is ensuring that we adhere to UK and international financial services regulatory requirements and maintain strict risk management protocols.
Fiona joined The Fry Group in 2016 as our Compliance Manager, before taking up a director role in 2020. Before working at The Fry Group Fiona enjoyed a career as a Senior Audit Manager at Carpenter Box LLP, one of the largest and most respected accountancy practices in the South of England.
She is a distinguished finance professional having been awarded the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) prize for Best Candidate in 2017 as well as their prize for Best Completed Regulated Diploma 2018.
Experience and qualifications
Fiona has a degree in Accounting, and a CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. She is also a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant.
Outside of work
Fiona is a keen runner, having first taken up the sport during lockdown, and now relishes it as a good excuse for being out in the fresh air. She also enjoys all kinds of mind puzzles, and especially loves the chance to challenge herself with escape rooms. As a film buff, Fiona likes taking time out to watch movies and, when circumstances allow, travelling with family.
