James is a Financial Planner in Hong Kong, focusing on managing long term client relationships and providing advice on personal financial planning and wealth protection.
As a Certified Financial Planner, James is part of a growing community in Hong Kong focused on advancing professional financial planning standards and promoting the importance of financial planning. As well as overseeing client relationships in Hong Kong, James is also responsible for our clients based in China and Taiwan.
Experience and qualifications
James qualified as a Financial Planner in the UK in 1999 and began his career in the finance industry working for Nationwide Building Society. He moved to Hong Kong in 2003 and subsequently joined The Fry Group in 2006. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong and is a Responsible Officer with the Securities and Future Commission in Hong Kong.
Outside of work
James loves to travel and spend time with family. He enjoys skiing in the winter and water sports in the summer. He also regularly competes in Triathlons and cycle racing events between Asia and the UK.
