Nothing shouts Britain more than cucumber sandwiches, tea and a good game of cricket. All that was missing was David Beckham, the Queen and a big red double decker bus to take us all home. From the kids competing in the potato sack race to the adults enjoying refreshments, there was fun to be had by all the family. While this event allowed the Brits to celebrate being British for one afternoon and forget Brexit temporarily, the main goal was to raise money for charity.
We would like to thank the BBCA for organizing such a wonderful afternoon and we look forward to seeing you ‘bowl’ at the next one.
We would also like to make a special mention to Alison Rose who made her final official engagement as UK Ambassador to Belgium before returning to the UK.
